We are excited to introduce this new product range to The Sanctuary! Miss Vitality is a therapeutic grade, TGA approved vitamin/supplement range that’s Australian made and focussed on skin health. This is a premium, organic, high strength range. Miss Vitality allows us to work on optimum skin health from the inside out, specifically treating conditions such as ageing, pigmentation, glycation, plus inflammatory skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis.
So, I have trialed the following products so far, and here’s my feedback:
Clean Tea – containing barberry, peppermint, lemongrass and rosehip, this tea is warming and refreshing. I have been serving it to our clients in our waiting area and the feedback has been very positive. For me there are definitely notes of peppermint and lemongrass, it is refreshing but not overbearing. This tea is meant to aid in liver detoxification, boosting energy and improving digestion. I must say that my digestion has certainly improved since drinking this tea almost daily. I have been drinking it warm, but it would probably be just as nice served chilled on a hot summer’s day!
Elevate – For someone that has suffered from gut issues, stress and eczema, I am always looking for ways to provide a more alkaline internal environment. I have been fascinated by acid/alkaline food charts – when my health isn’t good / my eczema is flaring, it is usually because I am stressed and my body’s acid/alkaline balance is out of kilt. This means it is time to eat/drink more alkaline foods. I have been taking a teaspoon of Elevate daily and I have certainly noticed my energy levels improve since using it! I think most people suffer from an overly-acidic internal environment. Elevate contains ingredients like Wheatgrass juice powder, beetroot juice powder, barley grass extract, and spirulina powder – all of these super foods will reduce acidity in the body. You can add a teaspoon into a smoothie, mix it into yoghurt, sprinkle it on your cereal… or I simply mix a teaspoon in a glass of water. I think it has quite a pleasant flavour, and you can feel it doing you good!
I have also been taking – The Good Oil (highly concentrated Omega3, high potency fish oil) and Illumination Formula (a multivitamin especially formulated for skin) – reviews to come.
